Senior O&M Advisor experienced in the operation and maintenance of onshore & offshore wind energy since the year 1995. Setting up and expanding departments. Involved in the Dutch wind turbine industry from the start. As service manager expanded the service department of Vestas -Nederland from 4 to 40 service engineers with the focus on customer satisfaction and high availability of the wind turbines. Including warehouse set-up and parts management, technical support of service engineers, setting up and prepare organisation for safety, environment and quality certification. Involved in early offshore maintenance organisation. As Operation manager reorganized the service department of Vestas Germany with 600 service engineers. This included implementing a new matrix organization with satellites and the merger with NegMicon. The reorganization was done by many projects for improvement of different fields of the organization. Initiated and headed all the projects. Improvements involved all disciplines of the service department like shift work, technical support, material management, planning, execution of maintenance on the WTG and customer and management information. As member of the Global service committee worked on several improvements on global perspective. Implemented a new service software system. At an independent service supplier developed a new all-in service contract and setting up of service on Vestas and NegMicon wind turbines.
