As a Project Manager setting up an on and offshore wind department including the necessary quality systems.
In his function of General Manager responsible for the Dutch daughter company for the Benelux area.
As Vice President responsible for the sales activities for offshore wind turbines for the Central Europe area.
After 9 years moved from the Sellers side to the Buyers side (Project Development Company), getting introduced in the thinking towards wind farms on and offshore of the Financial market.
As Director Offshore responsible for the realisation off offshore wind farms.
During his career Coolen finalised his MBA specialised in the Construction industry.
His research was the project finance for offshore wind farms.

In a short period OutSmart has grown from a single persons company to an organisation with senior experienced pragmatics from the wind industry on and offshore and the construction industry.
